Hands for the bands

The bands can only function with the support of band families. Parents (or grandparents or guardians) can help the bands with various tasks e.g. drive or load vans for events, set up and put away for rehearsals and concerts, sort out sheet music, catalogue historical items, maintain the instrument store and inventory, help out on refreshments, make up raffle hampers, sign up HCYBA to local supermarket fundraising schemes, join the committee etc. Many of the roles do not require any experience or expertise and if everyone pitches in then the workload is spread and every person that lends a hand really helps the band. If you’d like to help, please email chairmanhcyba@gmail.com.

Saturday refreshment stall: No experience needed and a fun way to meet other band parents. Just one Saturday morning in the year would really help. Sign up to a preferred date here: https://signup.com/go/snFzzSS

Please share this link with other band parent friends and encourage them to join you so that we spread the workload and it doesn’t always fall to the same kind hearts.
